After Rhonda and Quentin divorced in `94, Rhonda didn't do a whole lot of dating, but just recently she finally tested the waters and pulled up Sweeney Christmas. He's a cop who plays by his own rules. He's a rebel, he's on the edge. He's taking back the streets. Crime is a sickness and he's got a long needle. He's also the embodiment of every 70's cop show cliché. And he's black (which never becomes an issue). He's a good cop and a tough cop and the bad guy is going down, man. Solid. Dating a cop isn't an easy thing for Rhonda...seeing as how her oldest daughter is now a supervillain, not to mention that she, Quentin, and Monica are essentially vigilantes. But Sweeney's a good guy. Now if he could just keep his endless supply of partners from getting killed every few weeks. Of course Monica and Vanessa dislike Sweeney; Monica because he's a big obstacle in the way of her parents getting back together, and Vanessa because he's a copper, a pig, a flatfoot, Johnny Law, a tin star, a bull, blah, blah, blah. Will Sweeney ever get to marry Rhonda? Will he discover the secret identities of the Quinn family? We'll see. "Dammit, Captain, just give me another 24 hours!"
